My interviewers had read my file pretty closely, so be prepared for that! Especially in terms of talking about any research products (papers, posters etc) you may have

For those that have interviewed, did they give any indication if they look at/take into account update letters? I've had some significant updates but notice the portal says updates may or may not be read. I'm wondering if that applies mostly for applicants without interviews (i.e. because that is a lot to go through) or for everyone. Did they mention anything about it during your interview day?

My interviewer said the committee meets pretty soon after our interviews to do an initial deliberation, so they recommended to upload it within a few weeks of the interview if you want it to be read.

It didn't let me see past January, but there's one day this coming week, one day the following week, and one the week after.

No, between 30-45 min. One lasted 50 min and the other was 30 or so.

My guess is yes. Historical CycleTrack, SDN, and Admit data says that last week was the last time they've issued out IIs... Took me a little bit to move past it, but I think it's safe to say that we all have Rs at this point

Wdym β€” same thing most people get out of posts here. Let's you fantasize a bit about getting in or nix some hope if you bombed. Feels like a valid q

Not really, since no one except your interviewer has any idea how you did. You could have had stellar answers, but your interviewer had food poisoning yesterday and just isn't in the mood, or your answers could have sucked, but they find something special about you. Its completly random, and asking premeds how much value they think it has is useless. Just go touch grass.

You're being kind of rude. There's nothing wrong with wanting to potentially pinpoint where you could've had a weaker application. Interviews don't end at medical school. If their interview did not go so well and the school weighs that in heavily, then they could be motivated to work on it more for the future. This is not an unreasonable question to ask hello? I personally would always assume it's important but it could also not push your application into the yes pile even if you did do well. If they're asking this question, they probably did not do as well as they wanted to.

Interviews are a part of life and should be worked on regardless of whether one school weighs it heavily or not.

I specifically said they would be more MOTIVATED to work on it. Not that they would choose between practicing or not practicing at all. Motivation is important for anything, esp self development. Most people are not stellar interviewers (bc of nerves, etc.). It's not wrong or unreasonable for someone to use that to push themselves to get very good at it when they're not the best right now. I just think your responses lack a lot of compassion I'm going to be honest.
