For those that got in, did you feel that your interview day went well? Did you anticipate the A?

yes! n=1 but when i finished my first faculty interview i knew almost immediately that i was going to get in (or was at least 99%) sure i would get in. but i have interviewed at some other schools i was less confident about and got into them as well so i think it's fine if you dont feel confident after an interview

Do all decisions come out 6 weeks after interview date or just A's? Doesn't seem like anyone who got an interview has gotten rejected yet but I remember them saying something about knowing our decisions in 6 weeks. And if 6 weeks go by with no decision is that an assumed R or WL?

during my interview she teared up and told me while reading my application she had cried. we talked about some movies (i don’t know why). at the end she didn’t say anything like “i hope to see you around”, but she did tell me to send her an email and when i did she sent me a super long list of movies to watch

I interviewed mid october... am I cooked :(

Cooked for getting an A? At the end of my interview they said they make sure that everyone has the same chance of an A no matter how late the II is so i don’t think u having a later interview date minimizes ur chances. They are more conservative with their acceptances tho cause they want to make sure to give everyone a chance.

yeah i get wanting to give applicants a fair shake no matter when they interview but i feel like they should at least send an update to interviewed applicants after a few months

I emailed admissions yesterday and wanted to share what they mentioned. I was told their interview season is still in progress and they're sending out invites. The last interview date is March 12th.

interviewed in october and am still being ghosted. i think i gotta start accepting the R :( so sad

i interviewed in august and haven’t heard so maybe this is cope but i think (based off what they said at the interview and the data available on admit/cycle track) that plenty of people will receive As when the interview season is over. it looks like they accept very few people at a time and to fill their incoming class they will need to accept many more than who’ve they’ve already accepted (especially since they are likely accepting cream of the crop applicants right now who will likely have offers elsewhere)

is that to say there is a lot of waitlist movement or do you think a lot of people get straight a's later in the cycle?
