Drexel Interview Help

I am interviewing with drexel in a few weeks and am a little confused about the format. There's a Kira interview and then some student interviews is what it says, but how does the Kira intevriew part work? anyone who's interviewed there already willing to help?

Kira interview is traditional MMI, student interview is one student and several other applicants.

Drexel just listed me as held for an interview. Should I withdraw? This is generally a soft R, correct?

What is the benefit of withdrawing rather than just waiting? You never know what could happen.

Haven't heard anything yet, but should I email with an update or interest to maybe help?

Having an interview with Drexel. Could someone help me how to prepare for this interview? and what to expect?

Does anyone know if there is a difference between being on hold for an interview versus not being told anything? I haven't heard anything from them.

It’s an MMI and then a group student interview. Both closed file. Nobody should really be giving any more info than that, it’s unethical to give out details about the specifics on what exactly to expect. Study as you normally would for both an MMI and regular interview. You’ll do great, don’t worry :)

When are the 12/1 interviewees getting back decisions? Smh. Or maybe yall got accepted already and i should just expect an R in march lol

Man I was mid November and am still waiting to hear back 😭

They did say 6-8 weeks, so hopefully I will be hearing back this week or next...

My decision from mid November took the full 8 weeks to get back to me. You might be looking at waiting for another week or two

It does say there are visit days for both of their campuses in the future, but no specifics yet

What day did you interview, if you don’t mind? And how long after you received the invite did you have your interview?

Not to ask for any specifics, but did Drexel send an email telling us how much time we get per MMI question?? I got my II on 12/15 so Im not sure exactly if they dont tell us purposely or I missed something.

I could be mixing it up with another school but I believe it’s on the interview tab on the portal?

I interviewed the next week: i bet theyll prob drop in a cluster just to make it easier for em, so they'll prob be a little later than the 6-8 weeks they gave. Who knows tho rlly just speculation

Kira is a platform where MMI interviews are held. It was basically like a combo of a zoom breakout room and casper test. A prompt came up on the screen and it gave you a minute or so (I don't remember the exact amount of time) to read it and prep your answer. Then you were put in a live video room with someone who asked you to explain your answer. It was mostly situational/ethical/behavioral questions. Then repeat this for 7 total stations, one of which is a break station. The person on the receiving side of the interview in my case was mostly current med students, maybe one faculty member. It was pretty chill. Plenty of time to read and answer the questions in my experience.

The student interview was a group interview (my group was 3 applicants and one current student) in a zoom breakout room. No personalized questions since it was a group, just general questions. Also pretty chill since it was a student.
