Anyone from the area have advice ab living in Boca. Im from out of state and really only have been to Laudy and West Palm but not Boca/FAU. Any good apartments/food/nightlife options in Boca or surroundings? Hyped to get in here fr seems like a great school.

Did any waitlisted people get an invite to the second look day already or just the email about it? I would love to go i wish it was available for all of us :(

Do any of the accepted students know when the second day look date is? I would hate to be one of lucky waitlisted applicants who gets an invitation but then find out I can't go because there was not enough to time to call out of work or my research lab.

Better than I expected! The other accepted students were cool and the faculty seemed exceptionally supportive. For those on the waitlist, Monica said they already reviewed most of the 240 students on the list and made notes. She said waitlist movement would most likely start mid May. A med student also said you can still get scholarship offers coming from the waitlist. For accepted students, Monica said to expect more communication about next steps from the beginning of May.

I think majorityyyy of movement would start mid May so they are right to set expectations for then. I might have just been a one off case yesterday.

Sorry no the subject said something about confirmation of continued interest and they just dropped that line in the body of the email. I was super surprised to see that too since they've been pretty secretive about waitlist odds and standings.

I also got invited to their second look day but they also said the selection process for that was completely random and had no indication of your waitlist standing or your odds of getting in off the waitlist

I did but it was just talking to current students/professors so I doubt I could have made that great an impression, I didn't even speak to Monica at all during the day lol

interesting. well i did not get the email so i will try to hold out hope while tempering my expectations. my only WL so im so stressed :(

My kid also got this email today also. He fortunately got off another WL recently and will no longer proceed with this potential opportunity.

Not sure if it was random since I know 2 of the 12 who went as waitlisters got accepted already.
