Anyone know what the chances of getting an A are after being put on the alternate list?

According to MSAR, ~200 are placed on the waitlist, and ~100 of those are accepted later on. So, there's about a 50% of being accepted from the waitlist.

Any tips for interview???

I used UW’s Ethics in Medicine website (link below) and read through all of the topics to prepare for any ethical scenarios. I also used chat GPT to ask me sample questions and then give feedback on my answers, I thought it was pretty helpful

When do people typically start coming off the alternate list?

Could be at any time but usually April/May per SDN.

To my knowledge, yes. Around April 15th, they typically send out a questionnaire to ask if you still want to be on the alternate list or withdraw.

Interviewed early Feb and still awaiting decision. I inquired regarding any updates and I was told there are no updates. Anyone who interviewed then still waiting for decisions as well??

I think they are done sending IIs they stop interviewing in April
