I applied to 30 schools. I worked hard to get my applications done early and with all of the effort I had to give, spent 4 years working, volunteering, studying and devoting my whole life to this. All of the money I made at those jobs went to this application process. I’m not asking for multiple interviews or an acceptance, I just want one interview invite to know this whole thing wasn’t a waste. Getting literally nothing out of this process is the kind of thing that destroys your will to even try again, feeling like you were turned away across the board because of some glaring shortcomings or there was nothing worth getting even a second look at just 1 of 30(!!) schools. Just such a terrible feeling. Sorry for the vent
