504 mcat, CA ORM, nothing exceptional that could save my mcat, submitted to 20 schools this cycle when everyone told me to submit at least 40 for my low scores, and I got an interview in August from a non-CA MD with in-state bias + 0 connections to the state

This school said the lowest they will send a secondary to is 504, and, at that time, I questioned why I am even sending a secondary, but I got an interview in August!!! Right before I was going to write a new mcat restudying plan because I just convinced myself it's ok to reapply

Yes all the people who are getting II seem like they are 520, and I saw that everyone else who got an II at this school right now are 515+, but this doesn't mean everyone has to have high stats for a II. You could be the one who is at the interview with the 515+ students

Another note I wanted to add is I see a lot of people saying don't write about risky topics like your mental health etc. I ended up writing about my severe depression for this school and a few of the last schools I submitted (as an explanation for my mcat) because my perspective is you want to go to a school that cares about you. I was so scared that schools will give me a red flag for this, but they didn't! So give your context
