40 submitted secondaries, have only heard back from 10 -- 6 R's, 4 deferrals. expecting a massive R wave from the rest of the schools at the cycle's end. met with my undergrad premed advisor to figure out what's going wrong this cycle, and they basically said I nerfed myself with a 507 mcat, later submission dates, and almost all my volunteering was online, but that everything else in my app was great esp. writing. I don't know if I have it in me to lock in and retake the mcat since I graduate from grad school in May and have to be working on my thesis, which would put me at re-applying/retaking in 2027. BRUH. I feel so cooked and like I just wasted thousands of dollars and I hate telling anyone around me inc. family and coworkers that I will very likely not be getting into medical school this cycle. I can feel myself spiraling
