I am proud to announce that after countless hours of refreshing my email, checking portals twice a day, and a month and a half of nothing, I have finally heard back with my first rejection. For anyone going through radio silence. Never give up, never surrender. Keep refreshing that email and keep checking portals and one day you may receive news like me. I couldn't have done this without blood, sweat, tears and constantly hitting that refresh button. If refreshing did nothing on that first try, are you going to give up? What if they send that invite just seconds after you hit refresh? Is the cycle out of your control since you've submitted secondaries? I think not. Imagine getting that II the second it pops in your inbox and you schedule an interview in lightning speed. Does this not show ambition? Does this not show commitment? Does it not show that you highly value an adcoms school? I think it DOES! The last thing that you are in control of is hitting that refresh button anytime you get the chance!
