I feel like I have been pretty vocal on this site since joining it last year. This has been one crazy cycle to say the least.

I have been very blessed with 5 MD acceptances: Alice Walton, UColorado, Wake Forest, Quinnipiac, and the University of Miami.

Vibe wise and mission-wise, I am leaning heavily towards UColorado and Miami. Financially, I am leaning towards Alice Walton but am worried as I would be the 2nd Inaugural class.

However, finances are a concern. I have worked in corporate healthcare for a few years and can support myself with roughly $35K a year in savings, with the rest having to come from loans.

I have strayed away from airing my laundry and asking for public opinion, but I am stumped. Would you prioritize the financial freedom that going to a new medical school for essentially a full-ride but risk uncertain residency matching, or go to a more traditional, more established program that will definitely put you into financial strain? Thank you!
