Why does it feel like luck plays a decently hefty role in the cycle, I’ve seen a lot of inconsistencies and a lot of my friends in the cycle right now are also seeing it too, I guess it’s inevitable because human bias comes from human admissions directors and you can’t choose who looks at your app

Ex. My brother and I are both applying this cycle and have pretty similar apps but have had wildly different outcomes and I can’t see why my app has gotten me interviews at schools that he didn’t and vice versa
