Has anyone put much thought into the math for reporting bias on the site? I know it’s hard to address drop off and all the factors. But after comparing some old spreadsheets (2021 yield rates), current reported acceptances, and MSAR waitlist procedures for schools who actually report it, I think about 1/3 people report acceptances and 1/5 report waitlists. This would be out of a schools total application pool, not just those on admit. I don’t know about rejections but I’m sure you could estimate it. Does anyone have anything in regard to this? Or maybe the mods havey done some research on it too
