Will radiology still exist by the time we graduate

Not tryna be a doomer but tbh I'm very much a Type B type dood who doesn't vibe with the whole work 90 hours a week your whole career thing and part of the reason I even applied to med school was to do either rads or anesthesia. Recently obv people been doom posting about AI and rads and stuff. My buddy said the surgery chairman at his school (T10) told people if they go into rads in 2026 they need to get their heads examined because it will be taken over by AI before they even finish residency. Meanwhile if you look at the diagnostic rads job boards people are out here making 500k, 600k, even 700k with like 12 weeks vacation, which seems like the absolute chill city career path. Those guys are saying that imaging volumes are exploding plus you need a person to take on the liability so don't worry. I shadowed this radiologist who said that actually the IM and FM and Peds peeps will be the first to be screwed by AI because they will be replaced by a mid level with a smart phone he said nobody can read a CT. So IDK. What are y'alls thoughts on this subject matter?
