Hey all, quick question. I am seeing lots of posts on school forums to the effect of “there are ___ people still in student group chats which exceeds the class count by ____ so waitlist movement is probably going to be low this year.”

Keeping in mind the collective anxiety of us waitlist warriors, this doesn’t seem like an accurate way to project waitlist movement for a variety of reasons. Interested to hear people’s thoughts on this. Will fully admit I’m wrong if this method holds up in people’s experience lol.
