More gap years instead of reapplying this cycle?
Curious if anyone is in the same boat:
I am currently on 5 WLs and hold no As. I simply refuse to give up hope yet and frankly just don't have the energy to reapply this cycle (and haven't changed much about my application since last year, so I don't know what I'd do differently). I have decent stats (516 MCTA, 3.81 GPA), and got good feedback on my personal statement. I also got good feedback on my interview style through my school's health professions committee. I have about 500 clinical hours, and have worked as a CRC for the past two years. (I also got the top percentile on both SJTs).
I'm trying to think of jobs, other than being a CRC, that would be fun and meaningful, and allow me to reapply more refreshed and inspired next year.
Any thoughts? Or is anyone in a similar situation?
