Hey everyone, I’m currently staring at my 2025–2026 cycle options and the math is starting to get scary with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. I wanted to know the consensus of how everyone else is feeling.

I’m currently between a high-COA private school and a much more affordable in-state public school. I’m curious how much the new federal loan caps are influencing your final school choices. Anyone leaning towards the cheaper option for sure because of this??
