I am so grateful I got into a school closeish to my parents. I love them, they're awesome, and we have a good relationship, but I am excited to move out. The school I got into has "optional" lectures but in-person activities (lab, small group-work) pretty much every afternoon, so it would be nice to not live an hour away without traffic. Not to mention being in control of my diet, schedule, not sharing a bathroom, etc. The price tag is starting to give me cold feet though. The economy is bad, everything is more expensive than when I moved back in with my parents, I'm a big fat coward and I'm scared of change. I just wanted to see if anyone relates or has any advice.
