I've heard that UGA has gained preliminary accreditation for the fall, and they will soon be taking applications for their inaugural class. Even though the school is brand new, UGA as a whole is of course very respectable, and I'm sure some of that reputation will eventually carry over into the medical school.

Is it worth sending in an application if I have some acceptances secured? UGA seems to have a good amount of scholarship money secured as well, so is it possible that there may be some financial benefit there (I am not expecting to get scholarships from my current A's)?
