I got my first WL in October and I was just so 🙄 and basically had to forget ab it because I knew there was a chance I wouldn’t hear anything new about that for another 7-8 months. I got a deferall yesterday and I was like wait… only like 2 more months!!!

This isn’t an endless process. It actually is finite as much as it felt it wasn’t!
