Guys, help a bro (and his premed dog) out
My dog and I are both premeds, but I’m further along than he is (I’m applying this year, he’s still working on basic obedience and organic chemistry). He loves dressing up A LOT. If I pull out a costume, his tail begins wagging at full speed. His canine side is very important to him, especially his canine beauty so I’m looking for something that can make him look like a canine god.
So I proposed that when we both get accepted into the same med school, we get matching scrubs to wear for our first day. I want him to look professional, confident, and like the goodest physician-scientist boy ever.
Both of our love languages are physical touch, so I’m looking for scrubs that allow for some casual, non-disruptive morale-boosting contact in the hospital. For example, I'm looking for fabric durable enough to withstand frequent congratulatory head rubs after good answers.
I found these custom scrubs with little paw-print patterns and a matching mini lab coat for him. However, I do not understand scrub logistics. Will the paw sleeves interfere with sterile technique? Will attendings take him seriously if his stethoscope squeaks? Is it acceptable for him to carry his med badge on his collar?
I’m asking here because I don't fully understand the logistics of dog fashion. I don't wear dog costumes, but he does and I want to make him happy. Any insight before I reveal the fit to him would be appreciated.
