General question, I have been waitlisted at 3 T5s/T10s that are known to give very generous need-based aid. I am extremely low income, so I qualify for max need based aid at basically every other school I have been accepted to. However, the need-based aid at the T30-T50 schools I have been accepted to are nearly not as generous as the higher ranking schools.

However, I am hoping to get off the WL at one of the T5/T10 schools, but am worried that need-based funding would "run out" and they wouldn't offer me as much aid compared to applicants who got a straight A.

I know merit-based scholarships are likely out of the picture, so I am mainly asking about need-based grants/scholarships.
