I'm a pretty "traditional non-trad" applicant in that I am coming from a non-physician medical career. I've worked with docs across specialties for a long time now and felt like I had enough perspective to make an informed opinion before switching careers. I am drawn to the challenges of it, mostly. Being a physician requires an insane blend of clinical knowledge, people skills, strategic thinking, you name it. Nothing else like it. What's your reason?
