Please Ground Me
Hi all, I have decided to possibly matriculate at my state school, which is much cheaper compared to a higher-ranked OOS school (also a public state school for that state) in a region where I dream of moving to. I cannot help but feel somewhat insecure or judged when my peers/friends wonder why I chose this school instead of the one that has better resources for more competitive specialties (connections, research, programs,...). I feel so grateful to even have the options to choose from, but somehow I feel like I am missing out on a new experience by choosing the cheaper option.
Can someone share their sentiments or smack some sense into me?
