For anyone reading through this and thinking about applying next cycle, please please please do NOT listen to anyone that tells you “oh you have time to submit your primary since schools don’t start sending secondaries until June.” Submit your AMCAS as soon as it opens and do any edits beforehand. Verification times are only taking longer and longer, and being at the top of the stack is an incredible advantage given how many people are applying as the years pass. Timing is one of the few things you can control in a process as volatile as this, so don’t let it be something that actively works against you.
