As a first-gen college student, after graduating from undergrad in 2020 with a 3.1 cGPA and 2.9 sGPA, I didn't even consider medical school as being an option within the realm of my capability. Now, 6 years later, after so many years of reinvention, finding my passions, getting engaged, getting a masters, becoming an RN and discovering the joys of research, healthcare and community service, I can finally say that I'll be becoming an MD.

It's been such a long road, but the journey's just beginning!
