Strong underserved/health equity narrative

Reflections: surprised I got no love from OH or service schools. spelled columbia's name wrong in secondary, so that was a surprising interview invite. lack of research and clinical definitely came back to bite me post interview. most interviewers told me (without asking) I did well, but I always felt like I was punching up at research schools. writing helped me get interviews, but low research productivity and low clinical were my demise. unsure if MCAT retake was the right call tbh, but got the A in the end! wish I had applied to more schools too, but I was scared my GPA held me back. highly recommend 2 gap years to anyone.

Edit: switched to premed junior year of undergrad
