There are three types of applicants:

1) Applicants who are nervous/excited and frantically update every possible online forum (Admit, SDN or Reddit) first thing in the morning

2) Applicants who silently absorb information off of forums but are Switzerland when it comes to posting their thoughts

3) Applicants who are super confident in themselves and don't check ANYTHING (+ bonus: they probably don't even refresh their emails 50 times a day to check for II's)

Good news or bad news, I know it can be therapeutic to post. But, are the discussions you are seeing representative of the current applicant pool? Most likely not (it is probably just the first group of applicants you are seeing, which is a very small percentage). Please don't get too stressed just yet. Although it is easier said than done, the BEST thing you can do for yourselves is to keep your calm. Give yourself some MUCH NEEDED grace- truly, you got this.
