I'm a nontraditional student with a 506 MCAT (7+ increase from when I applied in May, took it again in September 2025). Currently accepted to WVSOM but still waiting to hear from DUQCOM (I'm an alumn), Wright State (high-ranked on their waitlist), NEOMED, Marshall, and USC Greenville. I have no acceptances to MD and I'm fine going DO so I don't want to reapply just to get into MD. Realistically I'd love to get into an MD school but I am kind of lost right now. I am interested in more competitive specialties so I do believe it would make a difference. I don't know if sending a letter of intent is advisable without an acceptance in my hand, or if I should wait until April. Congratulations to all of you with acceptances though!
