Applied to 41 schools and have received 0 IIs with 21 schools still left with silence. My list was definitely top heavy and am still waiting on tufts, geisel, stony brook, VCU, SKMC, temple, loyola, UMass, UMiami, just unsure what to do atm given where we are in the cycle. Low stats as well (3.2 cGPA and 3.2 sGPA with 508 mcat). Did undergrad at HYPSM and dealt with a bit of family strife that led to those issues, yet have experience in EMS, biotech, global health, and am completing a masters degree in health administration. Have 5 pubs in submission with 3 accepted and 3 conference presentations. Apps submitted throughout september. Recently got laid off due to budget cuts and wondering if i just start studying for the mcat rn, what to do w next gap year as it seems i'll reapply. Considering taking a class or two in upper level bio and likely mcat retake
