It finally happened... but I need help!
GUYS I'M BECOMING A DOCTOR! 🥳
4 years later... all of my hard work, retaking MCATS, and reapplying, all those seeds have finally produced good fruit and I have God to thank for all of it!
Every time I applied never produced an interview invite and a few days ago, 2 schools sent me an acceptance email on the same day! EEEK!!
I was told to leave cost out of my deciding factor, since it's inevitable (we all will be paying back our debts regardless + they aren't instate schools for me)... so now I'm wondering what should I mainly focus on when choosing a school as my #1 pick? (Note: All schools I have applied for have similar missions that reflect how I want to serve, but they are all in different parts of the US).
Lastly, pls take this as motivation: If becoming a doctor is truly your calling, it will come into fruition! Delayed, not denied. Don't focus on the timeline, just focus on how you tend to your crops during those seasons (even if it means having to restart again and again).
Edit: Things to consider:
1. Pass/fail vs. graded
2. Mandatory lectures?
3. Established or non established medical school
