unpopular opinion = it's unprofessional and inconsiderate for med schools to give out anything but an II or an A on a holiday
ik NYE isn’t considered a federal holiday, nor is Christmas Eve, but applicants look to holidays as a much needed breather from the stress of the application cycle. It’s not nice for schools to send out Rs and/or WLs on these days. They couldn’t have waited til Jan 2? :/
