I would like to preface this by saying that I’ve seen a lot of people questioning if schools they haven’t heard back from are still interviewing/if they still might have a chance. That is not what this post is for, I just feel generally confused that I have heard absolutely nothing from 7 schools since the confirmation of my secondary. I applied to 28 schools total and 21 have rejected/waitlisted/accepted/withdrawn but the fact that 7 are just sitting around is a bit weird to me considering we’re halfway through March. I know that none of these schools are continuing to interview so why don’t they just reject me already? It makes me feel like I paid $200 for my app to just get lost in space somewhere. The schools in question are: RFU, Tufts, UConn, University of Tennessee, Vermont, Drexel, and Albany. Especially confused when schools like RFU are sending large rejection waves and I haven’t gotten one? It’s nothing serious, and I’m very fortunate to not be waiting on these schools for decisions, more just confusing and slightly frustrating why I haven’t gotten the R yet.
