How you felt about quality of secondaries vs interview invite received

I know there is a lot of discussion about how it is difficult to gauge interview performance and that the interview is only part of the equation that leads to an acceptance. I am curious about a similar relationship, but going back a step. How did you guys feel about the quality of your secondaries and did your "better" ones lead to interview invites?

For example, the schools that had the longer character limits (4000 characters) for some prompts or a large volume of prompts were coincidentally the schools I got interviews at. I consider myself a very thorough person and felt like I was better able to articulate myself much better. Additionally, I split my secondaries into three "blocks." My first block were mission fit and schools I was pretty excited about, second block were my realistic top choices + IS, and third block were some reaches and schools far away. My second block felt the worst because I was burnt out from the first, but was still rushing to get them in ASAP. I don't have any interviews from that second block of secondaries.

I understand there might be some survivorship bias here.
