Applied to 18 schools, got 6 rejections so far and radio silence from the other 12 (including my state schools). Not a single II.

I'm so far removed from the original cycle that I've already come to terms with a second gap year and mentally built new goals for that time. Would rather just reapply than be in this limbo until I suddenly have to drop everything, move to a new town, and go to medical school right before classes start.
