Unsolicited advice: log off admit

Been seeing a ton of really, really neurotic posts recently (stressed about not getting an II when like 10 schools have sent anything, worried about being late on secondaries when it's still the beginning of August, etc etc etc). If the above describes you, please get off this website and spend some time with hobbies, loved ones, or whatever else makes you happy. If you're done with secondaries, this whole thing is out of your control, and microanalyzing every II someone else reports will just make you feel miserable. If you're still working on secondaries, you already know what you need to do, and being worried about turning them in at 3 weeks vs 2 weeks doesn't change that. This process is just too long to be stressed and unhappy the entire time. Besides, medicine is an inherently stressful career path - you have more high stakes exams coming up, you'll go through this exact same thing again while matching, you're going into a job that has some really stressful moments - and I think it's really important to know how to handle stress well and take care of yourself. Some of y'all have amazing stats but not so amazing coping skills 😭
