got into my dream school and it seems like i won’t be able to afford it. super grateful to have a more affordable option but declining that offer is gonna hurt like a MF. like how on earth are we supposed to pay for med school with only 50k/yr fed loans (if that!) ??

are we optimistic schools will adjust aid to throw us a bone? or we’re just thrown to the private loan vultures?
