correct me if Im wrong but you have to self finance everything from moving, new apartment deposit, and everything else before the school releases your financial aid and fafsa releases your loans? is this correct, you pay for everything out of pocket and then get your loan money once school starts for tuition and cost of living?

so I should start saving for this huh, anyone estimate how much avg new matriculant needs to have to be able to do this
