TL;DR I know this current system is the best for a LOT of different reasons!!! Just wish I could have more face-to-face opportunities. <3

I believe only one of the schools I applied to offers in-person, and that is because they are sooooo regionally focused that maybe only 10% of interviewees (and that’s a generous estimate) are not physically located around that area lol.

I know a lot of it also has to do with the pandemic, or people can’t travel across the country because flights are ridiculous nowadays, etc etc

I am extremely biased because I feel like I can make a much better impression in-person and most people probably feel that way too.

Ultimately, I think this current method of virtual interviews by far levels out the playing field for everyone. And that’s how it should be please don’t crucify me 💔
