I don’t understand why they won’t tell applicants how many people are on the waitlist? I kinda understand not saying how many they let off the WL bc that could say smth about their matriculation rate… maybe?? But what’s the rational behind not being transparent about the length of the WL? Does it harm their image of being an “elite school” or what?

I’m just frustrated by the incredibly unhelpful MSAR guide and am watching all the WLers go crazy in the school forums (UCLA in particular rip)

Just looking for anyone’s thoughts about it; I know we’d all be guessing lol
