I have been on the reddit forum and it genuinely boggles my mind how many people are like “can I just send a LOI to multiple schools?” / “do I reeaaally have to commit to the school I send a LOI to?”

Like… it is genuinely so annoying because people like this are the reason the LOI has lost merit. It is in the name: intent. It is a promise. And to take advantage of that is selfish. What of the people who are actually sending a LOI to their dream school? It’s not fair to them
