Reapp? Honest advice needed
Hi guys, at this point in the cycle, I've kind of given up the hope of more IIs coming in. I'm not sure what went wrong, and I would love some advice.
I have mid-high stats, 3.97/515, ORM. I have 3000+ hours of research across 3 labs, and I'm currently a full-time research assistant. No publications (red flag?), and 4 conference presentations. 2 lab PI rec letters that are positive.
800+ hours as an EMT, I try to work 24 hours every week on top of my full-time job, which didn't give me a lot of time to volunteer (red flag?).
200-ish hours clinical, 100-ish hours non-clinical.
Submitted primary first day, and secondaries from early July to mid-August. My personal statement was reviewed by med/phd students, and I think it's decently strong. I will admit I lacked a bit in writing secondaries and submitted in a hurry, which could've resulted in my unfortunate situation.
I applied broadly, with around 50% of them being t50.
I want to know what I can do better and what is lacking in my app, so I can address them. I applied so early, I'd assume most schools have passed on my app by now :(.
