"Withdraw from your schools!"

Might be an unpopular request, but can y'all stop posting this every other day?

The interview season is very close to over. Withdrawing an A now versus in March/April once the dust settles with financial aid/other decisions isn't going to make a difference. If you're bound to get off the waitlist because enough folks withdraw, that'll happen later anyway. I don't think someone withdrawing an A leads to more interview invites considering schools have their pick of WL'd applicants who they've already chosen to interview.

Just comes off as selfish to me. Someone else having success doesn't mean they're obligated to relinquish their acceptances early for others to supposedly have a chance. AAMC has its system for getting students to let go of A's in April anyway.
