Clarification Needed About the Throwaway Method on AMCAS

Hi, I'm in need of some clarification about the potential drawbacks/ramifications about using the throwaway method on AMCAS. By the throwaway method on AMCAS, I mean submitting my application to one school I do not plan to attend within the first few days that submissions open, solely to begin the verification process earlier. I am a first-time applicant and my MCAT score doesn't come out until June 9th. Recently, I heard online that if I add new schools to my application after verification is complete, I would need to answer "yes" on secondaries asking whether I have previously applied to a medical school. Is this true? Any clarification would be much appreciated!
