I know this sounds stupid but I currently drive a super old beat up BMW with nearly 200k on it and the school I’m attending is about a 4 hour drive away from me and my family.

I don’t think my car will last very many trips up and down and I know I’ll be going back and forth at least once a month.

I need to buy a good, reliable, economic car but me and my family have 0 money so I’m paying for all of med school with loans. Could I pull out like 15k for a nice new Toyota or something that’ll keep its value? I’m really worried about how I’m going to pay for school since I’m going to have to take out private loans too. Will they even loan me that money at a decent rate?
