commit to enroll deadline before waitlist moves
hey so i'm in a bit of a stressful situation and wanted to get some perspective from people who've been through this
i got accepted to a school (school b) that i like but it's not my first choice. i'm also waitlisted at my top choice (school a) and i have pretty good reason to think i have a real shot at getting off based on historic WL movement. but obviously nothing is guaranteed
the problem is school b's commit to enroll deadline is early june and i'm not 100% sure i'll hear back from school A before then. school b's policy literally says once you commit you have to withdraw from all other waitlists
so what do i actually do here. do i just commit to school b to protect myself and hope school a comes through before the deadline? and if school a does come through after i've already committed to school b what actually happens if i switch? has anyone done this and what were the consequences
also is there any way to let school a know i'm still super interested without doing anything that violates aamc policies
feeling kind of stuck ngl, any advice is appreciated
