Reflecting on my pre-med journey, I think this point of the process is my favorite. The waiting to hear back and the anticipation is pretty bad, but I just love that I don’t have anything to do. No studying for the MCAT, no writing secondaries, no pre-med classes or time consuming extracurriculars (I’m in my gap years). I work 40 hours a week and I have other responsibilities, but it feels good to not have to worry about pre med stuff.
