I’m very grateful to be deciding between two acceptances and would appreciate any input from people familiar with these programs.

I'm a URM SoCal resident living with a single mom and I would love to stay close to home, as well as match back to California but I'm in a tough spot choosing between these schools. I was thinking about reaching out to Keck and see if they could match aid or anything at all but I'm not sure how successful I'll be.

Keck USC

Pros

- Location is close to home

- Match list is great

- Training in LA General

- Serving patients from my community

- Research opportunities

Cons

- Cost is crazy. I'm not sure if they give any aid

- LA is expensive

SLU

Pros

- Full tuition scholarship

- Area is cheaper

Cons

- Far from home

- Doesn't look like people are matching back to California

- Not a lot of people from my community

- Less research opportunities? Maybe I could go to WashU
