I am confused. I think I have a few interviews, which of course I am grateful for and I did get into my safety. But at some/most of these schools I have interviewed at, I am just getting deferred and even waitlisted, and they are saying they will make a decision on my application early next year. Does this mean I wasn't that good of an applicant or of an interviewer? How do I interpret this? Are my odds low now at these schools? And I guess it's unhealthy to do so, but when I check admit to see who is getting in to these schools, a good chunk of these people already have multiple offers at other peer/top schools too. Like is it even normal to be deferred at a few spots by now? Do I just assume I won't be going to these schools?
