hi, hearing now about the fact that when people withdraw from schools and the schools only pull applicants who have same/similar stats to them off the waitlist makes me feel like there's no hope lol. on md/phd waitlist with mid gpa, mid mcat, but lots of good research and a few pubs. but im assuming people who withdraw are those with multiple As, they def will have higher stats than me. feeling like im at such a loss because i really have busted my ass on research and i have dreamt of the md/phd for so long. i have talked to a few of the labs at the school too and they are amazing. but if i dont have the stats i feel like there's no way i can make it off. sigh
