I applied to 35+ MD schools in mid-August and 5 DO schools in October & I’ve gotten 1 II (DO) and 9 Rs thus far…. Any hope for me getting IIs later this cycle? My uGPAs were below 10th percentile but my MCAT was above median/75th/90th percentile for all MD schools I applied to. How are ppl with similar stats doing this cycle/past cycles? I’m worried my GPA could be tanking my app but curious to see if that’s actually the case. Which schools are more forgiving of a lower GPA w/ high MCAT? Do lower GPA applicants get IIs later in the cycle? Thanks in advance :)
